10/23/02 League Meets

At Spring lake
   Some fast times were displayed by Coastal Mountain Conference
runners at the Spring Lake meet as they ran in the same race
as the Montgomery, Carrillo, Newman & Ursuline runners.
   In the boys race Willits Kelly Clark finished 5th overall in
16:21 to win his league meet. The time replaces the 16:36 Willits
best on this course by Wes Serkin from 1998.
   Freshman sensation Ashley Shepherd of Willits showed why she has 
not lost a CMC race this year finishing with the top NBL girls in 
20:50.
