CLASS A TRACK MEET Berean Christian won the boys championship and Crystal Springs Upland won the girls title at the Class A meet at Mendocino College. The top-three finishers advance to next weekend's Meet of Champions at Berkeley. Fort Bragg finished second in the boys team standings. The Timberwolves' Dan Figueroa won the pole vault at 12-6, Brandon Juntz won the high jump at 6-1 and was second in the 300 hurdles, Brady Baumgartner captured the long jump at 20-4¾ and was second in the high jump and Lucas Bishop won the discus at 133-8. St. Helena's Peter Molinari won the 300H in 42.22 and Kelseyville's David Drew won the shot put with a throw of 47-1. St. Helena's Gaetano Bettinelli was second in the 200 and 400, St. Vincent's Christian Yungert was second in the 1600 and Fort Bragg's Austin Peterson was second in the 100 high hurdles and Steve Jahelka was second in the pole vault. Willits' Collen Kameroff was the Empire's lone girls individual winner in the pole vault at 8-feet. The St. Vincent girls 4x100 meter relay team also won, a team including Glynis McDonnel, Janelle Walker, Tashia Roberts and Erin Foster. Crystal Springs had five individual winners with Sam Kuo capturing the shot and discus and Sydney Blankers won the 100 and 200. Kelseyville's Meghan Rodrigues was second in the 100 hurdles and teammate Kim Schaerges was second in the 300 hurdles.
