DUBAY WINS SF HALF-MARATHON

Catherine DuBay, well known for her running talents in Sonoma County races, won Sunday's 13.1-mile
half-marathon in the Nike Women's Marathon through San Francisco, a race that attracted over 7,000 runners.
DuBay, 41, who also won this year's Human Race in Santa Rosa, grabbed the lead on the hilly portion
halfway through the race, and was escorted by the police and the race lead car across the finish line on
the Great Highway at Ocean Beach.
DuBay, general manager of Montecito Heights Health Club, finished the race in 1-hour, 23 minutes and 30
seconds. She was rewarded with a Tiffany glass cup, presented by Olympian marathoner Joan Benoit Samuelson.
The full marathon had approximately 15,000 participants.
