Healdsburg's Claire Bingham just ran the third fastest 100m High Hurdle race of all time. Next up would be running faster than her mom. The head coach at Healdsburg is Jenean Bingham who happens to be more than just Claire's mom. Jenean ran for Healdsburg herself under her maiden name of Sceales. Jenean won the SCL finals 100, 200 and 100m Low Hurdles in both 1980 and 1981. Last year as a junior Claire won the 100, 100m High Hurdles and 300m Low Hurdles. Claire's brother Justin was the 2006 SCL 110m High Hurdle champion for Healdsburg and ran leg on winning 1600m Relay. The girls 100 hurdles was raised from 30 inches high to 33 inches in 1993. Jenean ran both the 110 yard and 100 meter low hurdles during her days. Her 14.8 time for one of her 100 yard races converts to a fully automated time of about 14.96 for 100 meters. That is just a hair faster than Claire's 15.00 for her last 100 meter High Hurdle race. Here is a look at their high school careers and spots on All-Time 100 hurdle lists.
