2002 NBL Girls Distance Runners

The North Bay league distance runners can at least be thankful it
is an even numbered year.  On even numbered years the NBL sends
five from each event to the North Coast Section Regional Meet.
On the odd years it is only four.
When you look at the wealth of talent in the NBL girls distance
divisions this year you can see that some very talented runners 
will not even advance out of their own league championships.
The league finals are scheduled for May 11 at the Santa Rosa J.C.
The following week will be crazy as well, as those competing will be 
Split into different heats and will be running for time to be one of the 
seven fastest to move on to the Meet of Champions.
